Nvidia, Microsoft back self-driving firm Wayve as it hits $8.6 billion valuation
Wayve raised $1.2 billion in a Series D round valuing the company at roughly $8.6 billion, with participation from Microsoft, NVIDIA and Uber alongside automakers Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Stellantis; NVIDIA and Wayve separately signed a letter of intent to evaluate a proposed $500 million direct investment in Wayve's next funding round.
