JSR, Tokyo Ohka Kogyo (TOK) and Shin-Etsu Chemical supply EUV photoresist to TSMC
JSR, TOK and Shin-Etsu Chemical together account for roughly 85% of global EUV photoresist production volume and are established suppliers to TSMC's advanced-node lithography process; TOK and Shin-Etsu operate production facilities in Taiwan with engineers co-located with TSMC process teams, and JSR is reportedly building its first Taiwan photoresist plant (announced May 2026) specifically to supply TSMC with advanced EUV photoresist, following a November 2025 joint TOK/JSR investment in next-generation photoresists for 2nm-and-below manufacturing.
